Senior Program Manager

Peter Hollen is the Sr. Program Manager for Humankind Biomass Systems. Utilizing his experience in social impact measurement and communication, Peter oversees the CO2e credit verification, Sustainable Development impact and consumer engagement Programs for HKG’s projects around the world.

Before Humankind Biomass Systems, Peter worked for Housing Innovation Partners, a Section-8 housing developer, where he oversaw the development of the employment programs for homeless or previously homeless individuals. He also served on the product marketing team at Qualcomm Technologies where he developed an internal marketplace and event platform for employees to track and purchase products. Prior to this role, he worked for Wells Fargo Financial Advisors on the investment management team. Throughout graduate school, Peter worked with several nonprofits in a capital formation role to draft grant proposals - including a $50,000 grant for a social services organization outside of Detroit.

Before the start of his young career, Peter was a distinguished athlete having earned several leadership and All-American honors from the Big-10 and MCLA athletic Conferences including the University of Michigan Athletics Rachel Townsend Leadership Award, Big-10 Distinguished Scholar Honors and others.

Peter graduated Magna Cum Laude in nonprofit management from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and Cum Laude from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab. Peter lives in Northern California.
